Of course, "uptown" is Harlem.
Gene Krupa was the odd combination of swing band leader and drummer (incidentally, the guy that trained Peter Criss) but the focus here is Anita O'Day and "Roy" - her voice, his trumpet and their interaction.
All quite priceless.
